I have a FT-1802. Aren't all the coax connectors the same? This mag mount will just be for basic backup. I loaned mine to Perry a few years ago and he liked it so much he bought it from me.

Male... Female... Size... :-)

I have 2 mag mounts... One fits my handheld yaseu (and the baofeng with an adapter) and the larger one is for my Yaseu 7900 mounted in the truck. I have no idea the official names but I am sure Dave or Tim will chime in!
