Default Maiden Voyage

Hey everyone,

I just got my first LC, a 1994 FJ80 with factory lockers. The PO did a pretty good job of maintaining it, so after a fluid flush, new belts and a rebuilt PSP, it's pretty well mechanically sorted. Now time to take her out!

I'm in Denver, and I'm looking for suggestions for first trails to check out. I'm looking for a weekend camping excursion that can be done on a stock rig. Thank you so much for you suggestions and I promise to post pictures of the trip! So pumped to actually have an LC to post about!

EDIT: Hmmm, maybe too pumped, as I just remembered that it's still March and snow is still very much a reality. Colorado newbie. Came from the PNW, where you can find a snowless trail all year round. Still, I'm open to suggestions!

You pretty much need to seek lower elevations until summer. Utah is only 6 hours away. I don't recommend this weekend.
