I've used Safelite in Highlands Ranch several times for windshields on my FJ40's. They cut the glass and installed it for a pretty reasonable price.

Safelite in the Springs won't even give me a cash quote anymore - they apparently only do insurance work. I use small/private glass companies and have great results.

I do not understand Safelite's attempt to alienate me as a customer - I have tried several times to do business with them. When pressed for a cash price (I don't carry glass insurance), the rep told me it would be 'considerably more' than the competition. Ultimately, I never got a price.

Same gig here. Is it recommended to replace the gasket too? Mine appears to be in good shape but I would think this would be a good idea to insure good seal. Doug
