Default RIP FR710, Mill Creek

Probably didn't matter to most people. But I've been bringing my kids up this road since they were 6 months old. Camped by the creek. Taught myself and my kids to ride dirt bikes here. For years I've preached stay the trail and keep to forest roads. Fat lot of good all that's done. Mill creek had no mud pits, washed out sections of road or illegal bypasses. It's just your average dirt road.

It might just be some road on a map to someone in Washington, to me it was the dirt road behind my house.

I think you should print out exactly what you wrote with the photo, plus a few photos of you and your kids, and send it to every Colorado politician.

That's a bummer. I can't remember exactly where 710 is?

edit: That's the one that cut up through the resort then east to the top of the mountain, correct?

Was this one of those roads that never made the mvum? If not, I would be interested to find out what the closure is for.

As it crosses through the Vail Ski Area I'll give you one guess who played the largest role in the closure.
