Default Toyota Ever-Better Expedition

Toyota is cruising around North America with 140 member team and 9 vehicles (including a nice 200-series and crazy Sienna on a Tacoma chassis) as part of their Ever-Better Expedition.

Looks like they will be in Colorado at some point this summer, anyone have a contact in Toyota? It would be wicked to coordinate a club event to coincide with their time in CO.

That UUV looks like a stink-bug. The Club would blast a project like this if it were for sale on Craigs or something...Just sayin'....

It's a lifted Sienna minivan. Really weird.

Camped out on Kane Creek Friday night after the excellent BBQ at Cruiser Outfitters!

Passed the Miller Motorsports mega trailer hauling Cruisers out to the event in Price... Of course when I awoke at 5:30 to head to Moab Diner to grab a quick breakfast spin and an espresso I passed the crew unloading the goods.

Heard they ended up on Hell's Revenge with all the Toyota boys. I had Captain Ahab all to myself.

Gotta hit the trails in Moab super early this time of year! Phew it was hot by 8 am!

Exactly. I'm pretty confident the email requests for a lifted Sienna were greatly outnumbered by those for a NA market 70 series.

The Ever-Better tour isn't aimed at their consumers, in fact it's my understanding you won't see much a community element as it progresses. Our group was predominately engineers and those working with the engineers. They want their design and engineering teams to see the vehicles used first hand, and their tour has them stopping by manufacturing facilities and vendors along the route rather than dealerships and Toyota events.

The Sienna, well.. I'm not sure what that thing is doing. Perhaps inspiring innovation and creativity by the designer and engineers?

Holding court with some engineers from Japan, discussing the only OE failure on the E7 vehicles:
