Default Bought a Diesel with a turbo

Sorry VW content, 44.7 average mpg after 2000 miles of driving. 2.0L turbo diesel, 4 door, heated seats. 0% interest loan. Fastest car I've owned. Tried to buy a Prius, but I can't see out the back window and it was just too "space ship" in the drivers seat. Liked the Prius C, and would have gone for one of those if the rear seats had the ski pass through. Couldn't get past how ugly the Matrix was and milage wasn't great. Toyota, are you listening?

Yes! super fun. I love boosting up the passes in Al's car. Effortless at 75mph with a full load of gear and people.. even with 4 bikes on the roof.

Heated seats, good economy, nice interior, quick, handles nice, feels quality when you drive it and shut doors and work on it, it's quiet, stops nice.....

back brakes will be toast around 30-40k miles and use the special diesel oil for VW's (they sell it at NAPA's now), other than that drive it.

It's a good balance for the Land Cruiser in the family. I think you guys will enjoy it.

Congrats, I know the feeling I just bought a 13 passat tdi and I can't drive it enough. 40+ mpg and power you can't beat it!

Toyota is missing the mark not bringing diesel to the states. Your going to see 2 liter and 3 liter diesels from every other manufacturer very soon.

They sell the 507 grade oil at Napa? Which brand?

Congrats Farnham! We recently joined the TDI family as well.

The one in the purple bottle? They carry it specifically for VW people. I can look at the bottle tonight.

They also sell the filters. At least for the 2006 jetta TDI

We miss our Jetta Wagon TDI..

Your gonna love the fuel economy! Snow tires a given in Vail?

Great color!

Our Suby wagon is not bad at almost 30 mpg on the hwy drives.
