Snow on Vail pass?.....you could add some significant time. Gotta figure 14-17 hours total by the time you drive out there, take a look at it, chat with the guy, mount it up. That really adds to it.
Now, if he'll sell it for $500 and meet you in GJ, you got a deal. Otherwise they come up for sale ALL the time.
You make a good point, Fishy. Realistically I suppose this isn't the one for me. I'd really love to have one. But I really need a place to mount it anyways... I don't want to move my roof rack. I guess I'll try and get one next summer after I build some sliders and a rear cage, so I'll have a place to mount it correctly.
