Talking November 16th : Colorado Land Cruisers/Rising Sun Meet & Greet???

Hello Rising Sun Members!

The Colorado Land Cruisers are planning a club run on Nov. 16th. We like the idea of heading up north a bit and were thinking it might be fun to do a little meet and greet.

Anyone care to join us?

Any trail suggestions in your area for mid-November?

Here's our trip link on the MUD: http://forum.ih8mud.com/co-colorado-...un-2013-a.html

I am just starting the plans for the 2nd Annual Run the Gulches. That is one of the dates I was looking at, but the week before might work better for me. 2nd week in December for Run the Gulches is a possibility too. I like the idea of doing it between the holidays, but that may not work for me this year.

We'd love to have you guys along with us for that one too.

I like the idea of a cross club meet and rides. We did this a year or two back back and had a lot of fun, except that we let the guys with 37's and 39's pick the trail. That snow got a little deep.

Anyone know of a good trail in between the Colorado Springs/ Denver area that won't be snowed in or have closed gates?

The gulches run sounds like fun, but we volunteer for the Forest Service on the Christmas tree event the first two weekends, and usually have a Christmas party in December too.

Anyone from the Rising Sun, Book Cliff, and Deriailed clubs are more than welcome to come out and play on the Christmas tree runs as well, check the CLC forum for future details!

Moderator, does this need to be moved to the staging area?

Good call, should have paid more attention to where I was posting.

That was the issue last year for your group IIRC. We actually ended up talking on 146.460 to you guys on the other side of the hill.

I remember that very well. I was surprised we could get each other at that distance on simplex.
