Default New 4Runner guy

Hey all,

I've been meaning to sign up with Rising Sun for a couple years now but just never managed to get around to it.

I met Tim at the Toys for tots event at Lincoln a few weeks ago and that reminded me about getting involved. Planning on coming to Januarys meeting so hope to meet more of you guys soon!

Might as well post up a little about me too. Currently live in Superior and have been in Colorado for about 4 years. I own a 97 4Runner with more stuff done than i can remember. I work at ToyTec as the front sales/tech support guy and also am starting a Toyota specific install/fabrication shop with a friend called Rock Toy Industries.

And since this is a Toyota 4x4 group, here is my rig!

Hope to meet more of you soon!

Dylan

Welcome!

I used to see your truck driving south on 36 every morning when I was driving north. I've shifted my schedule to avoid the abomination of construction traffic so I can hit the hwy at 9 am, so I don't see it any more. I wave but my windows are tinted, so I doubt you've seen. Silver 99 with an ARB front and a custom rear w/tire carrier on 33's.

Yep i'm pretty sure i've seen you too. Did you retrofit a 2nd gen pickup grille?

Everytime i saw you, it would be too late to wave. Plus that stretch of road needs your full attention

No. I fiberglassed the stock grill, stuck in a metal back set and put my old first gen runner emblem in. I also run the old first gen shift knobs, and the rear "4wheel drive 4runner" badge in the back, since the PO debadged the whole truck.

Course, it has a small addition just above the badge that indicates its abnormally aspirated status, to use Bill's term.

And yes, I understand the road needing full attention! LOL. Its a mess.
