Default Winter riding

Anyone get out lately? Winter has not lived up to its name down this way. I got a ride in Friday before last in the Horse Gulch network in Durango. http://horsegulch.files.wordpress.co.../hg_trailz.jpg Just an hour in the saddle but felt great. (Chuchillo's Loop)

Been exclusively doing 'cross and pavement. Last time I had tires on dirt was Christmas in Phoenix, mud and snow around here.

It's just gym rat season for me. Lifting 5 days and cardio 2 days. Roads around Evergreen are way to sloppy for road and our recent snows have made the trails a bit dicey for my 29er. Wife hasn't come round to my desperate need for a fat bike yet. (Next fall, I hope!)

Been riding a bit till this last big storm. Did Super Walker the weekend before last even.

Mainly just doing the commute since Marshal Mesa is frozen in the mornings which means no mud just hardpacked snow. nothing super nuts.

nice to see you riding down there

when you win that battle, i'll take any and all advice you can offer as i can't seem to get buy in on that either.

been riding a bunch myself until this last storm. lots of time on the rollers the past couple of weeks though. the SB66 still needs a maiden voyage and i'm hoping it'll be somewhere besides valmont...
