Default New leather for 80 front seats?

Anyone ordered a new leather kit from metrictlc.com (AATLAS1X)? Just wondering about quality and price. My front seats are starting to fall apart.

I bought his covers almost 6 years ago and they are holding up well. They are due for a dose of leather conditioner but I would buy them again. It's a bit of work to install them but if you expect the job to be a pita its a lot less frustrating.

Matt...I also have them. They have taken a lot of abuse and holding up well. My dogs are not nice to them I have not taken the time to do the back seats, nor the console lid, etc...just the front seats. I have the hog pliers you can borrow, but I think others have better ones. They are also really cheap if you want to just pick up some to keep.

I also added seat heaters at the same time. I'm not sure my seat heaters were worth the trouble...they put out a bit, but usually by the time they are heated, my seat leather is already warm from my butt. Others may have different feeling about this, but I'm not sure I would do the heaters again?

Just did it this past winter and installed heated seats at the same time. Just the fronts, and yes it is a long process and a PITA so just be ready for it like Bruce said. My wife loves the heated seats (just got some universal carbon ones off ebay, really happy with that product) and the look of the new leather really helps bring life back into these aging beasts. I did not get new foam as mine seemed to be in decent condition still and I didn't have any more coin to drop on this project (partly because I decided to drop the coin on the Dave Stedman seat heater switches). Seems to be okay now that it's back together, not sure if new foam would maybe have a little more give. Seemed squishy enough when uncovered though.

The leather seems to be a perfect match to the original - only someone who knew I had done the seats would notice any difference.

Also have the hog ring pliers and way more hog rings than it would take to do the seats again.

I've done Shane's leather, front and rear. Very happy. Did not do the install myself tho. To give you an idea, even with a referal from an industry type to an auto leather place out here in SoCal, it was $650 for the front seats, rear bench, center console and the four door armrests. Shane supplied the leather for the door panels as well, but skipped that as cost of those alone was another full day's labor. The color match is impeccable between the new and old on my gray leather.
