[quote=nakman;247476]How about you present it? I'll provide the computer and big screen. [/QUOTE

If there is a presentation, I can also bring a projector we can plug your compter into, and medium sized (2'x3') screen to reflect it upon, drive-in-movie-style.

Who's bringing the popcorn?

Can we go over some skill sets that can help me recover my youth ... specifically my youthful lower back?

No but I've been working on a hair recovery plan you may be interested in.

As a fellow hair loss recipient and the lucky winner of lower back surgery, this is right in my wheelhouse!

Here are a few good tips

Always hook up or in the safest direction if it breaks. I learned this from Nathaniel Miller. In the event the hook breaks, the force sends the hook and rope into the ground instead of into the air. The same applies if the hook is pointed left or right. I attach the hook the way I want it to break. Pointed at the ground or in the safest direction for example.

Leave the generic tow ropes with metal hooks at home.

Never use a trailer ball hitch as a recovery point (threaded into a 2" reciever using the pin through the fabric loop is fine). It doesn't make any sense but the forces involved will sheer the ball off turning it into a deadly projectile.

Replace worn or damaged straps, winch cable, etc. We tried to kill BVB this year with this strap. When it broke, it sounded like a gun shot and recoiled into the back window with an incredible amount of force

Static vs kinetic straps/rope.... use kinetic for pulling/yanking and static straps for winching

This was the day we tried to kill Dan and Kevin. Both trucks had their winches extended as far as they could go.

Keeping at least three wraps on the drum. One wrap across the bottom is even better.

We couldn't quite reach so we used a winch extension that wasn't very long. The winch extension shouldn't have had any stretch to it and we considered it static. Under full pull, the strap broke and recoiled both hooks under both cars.

Lesson learned? Don't winch with anything kinetic, even if you think it may not be. Only use static ropes, cables, extensions, etc.
