Default Plan B. Cruise Moab 2014.

After a long cold winter, there's nothing better than getting out to the desert for some R&R. With truck work (mostly) completed, I headed out of Denver Friday morning, planning on hitting up the April Action Car show in Moab before a few days of exploring with Martin.

Originally, I planned to get to Moab via Yellow Cat country, but before I was over Vail Pass A call from Dave Hartman would end up having me stopping at Grand Junction for two new trailer tires for him. Oh Well. Was fun catching up with the Hartman's, and enjoying some fine hot rods before heading further out to the desert.

Some of the hot rods cruising Main Street Friday night.

More from the hot rod show. The weather ended up keeping a good amount of people away.

Last few from the show. Since Martin was on his way, I ended up heading south to Lisbon Valley for our planned camp.

What's a person got to do to get service around here? Couldn't help but stop and check out La Sal Junction.

With the road into our final destination still a bit slick from the recent storms, we decided to stop in Beef Basin for a night in hopes of the roads drying out. Careful Martin, there's a big blob of mud following you.
