Default Easy Trail Ideas?????

I have my buddy coming from VA for a week to help fix my FJ and have the weekend to go wheeling. He's got a Tacoma and wondered if anyone had any ideas besides Switzerland trail up north. And if anyone may want to join next weekend.

We haven't been up this year yet to see what (if anything) has opened, but west of Ft Collins a Taco should be able to do Old Flowers, Ballard, Moody or Sevenmile Road pretty safely. What about Mid St Vrain & Sugarloaf?

You could bounce around Yankee Hill possibly and work your way up toward Alice or Apex, Kingston Peak and Mammoth Gulch. The lower part of Argentine appears to be open as well.

Just spoke to the Rangers office. Kingston Peak target date is July 15 this year. Lower Loch Lomond is open, upper is still closed due to snow. She said Chinns Lake is still snowed in too, but I heard it was open. Not sure if that's good info, or not?

I know middle St. Vain was still closed last weekend and by hiking the buchanan trail I would say it's closed because Cony Flats is probably still in deep snow.

Bunce School Road is very very open, the upper 216 loop was snowy but passable the week before CM so by now it's fine for sure, that loop is worthwhile but the rest of the northern part of bunce is all a subaroad these days. Not bad for a close and easy shakedown run anyway.

McAllister Gulch out by Vail is easy and amazingly scenic.
