Default Bill Moore Lake - Post Rally Run August 24th 2014

I will lead Bill Moore Lake Trail this Sunday the 24th. It is a fairly easy trail that any Toyota 4x4 can do. It is an out-and-back trail that starts just outside Empire, so it is pretty close to town. The trail is quite scenic, and isn't that long - I have made it to the lake itself in an hour when I was in a hurry. But I don't plan on rushing the group, it'll probably take around 2 hours each way, and we'll hang out at the lake for an hour or so.

We'll meet at the McDonalds at the El Rancho exit of I-70 (exit 252) at 9:00 and depart at 9:30. That should put us at the trailhead around 10:00 or so to air down.

Bring Lunch, dress appropriately for Colorado's high country. CB channel 4.

No Replies? Oh well, Justin's doesn't have any replies either.

Anyway, due to various family events (stepdaughter's new baby today, MIL's surgery tomorrow), there is a possibility I will have to bail on this. Can I get someone who can lead this trail and is planning on going anyway to please raise their hand here?

Thanks and happy cruisin'!

One family event successful, healthy baby girl delivered this morning, mom and baby doing great, grandchild #3 for me. Get through my MIL's surgery tomorrow and should be good to go.

How would these runs be combined?

I am wanting to do this with y'all. I can't guarantee that I am going bc my wife is out of town and I have my 3 small kids. If they aren't doing well We can't make it. But I am going to try!

This is a fun, family friendly scenic run. The little kids will love it!

I believe both Bill Moore and Barbour Forks are running tomorrow.
