Default What do they know... that I don't?

Alright, one more Colorado newbie question...

All the J#@ps in my neighborhood have put their hardtops back on in about the last week. Do they know something that I don't know... are we getting into snow soon here or something. I am in Lousiville, between Denver and Boulder.

The days have been TOO beautiful for me to get the top back on yet. The early mornings and night make me grab a jacket but it is still nice.

Have many of you buttoned down for the winter already? When do you do it?

Thanks in advance-

Do you have a soft top or just a bikini top (or nothing)? If you have a soft top, you can wait until around Turkey Day. If you've got nothing or a bikini top, it's going to start to get colder at night. We usually get the first big snow around Halloween.

I've been running the soft top exclusively for the past 4 years, but my 40 isn't my daily driver right now. If it was my DD, I'd probably put the hard top back on around Nov. 15.

I was going to put my hardtop back on today. My buddy CJ7 Matt was also going to put his back on his Jeep this weekend. But since my Cruiser is sitting right now (gas too much $$$) I figure why not, just get it out of the way before I don't have time Don't have to worry any more about rain or snow getting on my upholstry. Plus I need to do some work on the top and it's gonna be easier when it's on the truck. This is my first fall with Brahma so it's new to me too.

If you've got the soft top and park inside, you don't really ever need to put the hard top back on. We'll get some deep snow and some seriously cold days, but they never last that long.

Halloween is guaranteed to be freezing cold, between now and then it could be 80 degrees or snow really hard on any given day.

If you park outside though, an early deep snow will be very heavy, could do some serious damage to a soft top.

Default top change:

Soft top comes off the weekend after the first snow hits it.
Softtop snaps get fixed at this time. Windows get polished too.
Hard top comes off around Easter.

What do you expect from a bunch of <censored> J**p drivers.

Wimps. They know nothing you don't and obviously little that you do, or they would not still be driving J**ps!

Default remember when?

Remember about ten years ago when it would snow on the weekend or day of Sept. 20th like 3 or 4 years in a row? I do...then right back to super nice weather? OK, not to accumulate too much but snow for sure...

Sounds good. I run a bikini top all summer long, and I park in my home garage at night. Man, I just moved from Iowa, and if you ask me, it is STILL warm!

The mornings and nights are a little chilly but it isn't that bad yet. I think I will run until I can't stand it anymore.

Thanks for your help.
