sorry John, I only remembered the letter having the phone number, but it's on a public website so I guess they don't care that much? My bad I should have clicked your link first.

No prob! You are only shown that page after you apply, so it's probably best that I deleted it.

I have been doing this for years, only called out twice (and one of those I was stuck (well, not stuck but the GF did not want us to drive home) in Albuquerque. I got no call this week so I just e-mailed Gene.

Having a RS HAM Channel will be nice.

Agreed... hence the thread in the ham section. I also asked the volunteer who did the pre-call last night if they had any intentions of incorporating ham radio into the dispatch, but no... we're likely the only club where this is possible. Maybe some day, perhaps our state association delegate would present its benefits some time?

Hey I saw how some clubs have become involved with a specific hospital.

I mentioned the FEAT thing today at Swedish to the Dir. of Imaging and the COO and they were very interested in knowing more about FEAT and I mentioned possibly seeing if the RS club would be interested in being on their hospital list for their snow plan.

I call on the hospitals for work.

Anyway, maybe if you all are interested, I could talk about it at the next club meeting and see if we want to be Swedish's official 4x4 assistance club. Maybe there is a protocol for this via FEAT.

They are a level 1 trauma so they are just about the top facility in the area.
