Default Pearl Pass

Anyone done Pearl lately? Made it up to the infamous timber/shale spot and had to turn around after getting socked in with blinding snow and sleet last weekend.

Anyone have any suggestions for that particular spot? Had I not been alone/snow/sleet, I would've gone for it, but looks to be a real high line that needs to be taken.

Thanks again,

Will

Last I knew it was clear but we're supposed to get rain and possibly snow up high late this weekend. Hopefully it stays clear through Sunday.

After a bit of walking on the shale this is where the tires hooked up nicely.

Here's a video of my take on the obstacle. Main worry is the wet timbers. As long as you hit them at a slight angle (not perpendicular) you should be fine. This was on bald 35x10.5" super swampers. Locked front and rear.

Last weekend, first trail with his brand new Jeep. He was either solo or with one other truck.

It was kinda wet when we tackled it. Went high and walked right up.
