Default Bunch of wimps

Taking Sarah to school, didn't seem like much snow and didn't check before we left. Turned on the Radio and said Cherry Creek Schools were closed. We looked at the roads and both thought that was a mistake and got to the school and it was closed.

Denver and Aurora aren't even on a snow delay.

I don't know, we had a solid 8" when I shoveled at 7 this morning, and it's still coming down hard up here. Boulder Valley schools are closed, and honestly the driving was more difficult this morning than it was last Friday. Since my the streets in my neighborhood have a good 8-9" hardpack base, this new 8" really made it interesting.

Bring it on, the more the better! I do feel sorry for the trash guys though, those guys were out in my neighborhood at 7:00pm last Saturday picking up cans by hand. We put our can out this morning, but I won't be too surprised if it doesn't get picked up.

Douglas County Schools are closed today, too.

Mine haven't been by in a while. I need to find a local dumpster to take my trash to.

5:30 this morning, my older daughter stumbles out of her room. I'm on the computer so she says, "Are the schools closed? Can you check?" I tell her, " No way, there isn't that much snow." I pull up the district website. In big red letters: Schools closed. My daughter then starts dancing around the house chanting, "SNOW DAY, SNOW DAY!" Oh well, no snow day for me.

It's slick out there. There were numerous FWD cars that were struggling on the slightest of hills. I told a rwd pickup i was pushing him up a hill he was stuck on belleview.
