Default Bought a 100

Found and bought a 1999 100 series.... one owner, clean, total documentation of all service at Toy Car Care (from window sticker to last oils change) it also has the diff locker all in my favorite color Rock River Green Mica.

After looking at dozens of 60/62s we settled on a 100 series as it fits our family needs SOOO much better. The nice rust free 60s are fetching a premium and are beginning to rival 40 prices. Finding one with a V8 or low miles with a 2F (didnt really want) that was local was proving to be tough. Lots of them have a V8 already, almost none are emmsions compliant. I read up a ton, drove a bunch of 100's and started shopping for one. This one was a good option for our budget, desires and family.

This will basically be a second minivan that we will build up as things need replacing. We'll probably put on a OME 2.5" lift and some BFG ATs and call it good till I can sneak the time in the garage to build sliders (going to go lightweight minimalist with this one and may not do bumpers yet). I'll likely add/build some drawers cargo system but for now we are just going to drive it.

Thanks for the help (I've called several of you for advice in the last month), we are happy with our new Cruiser.

NOTE: My kids rode home with me from the sale and my daughter (3 yrs old) kept saying, "Wow, this is a NICE van daddy!" And my oldest boy (5 years old) kept arguing, "No! This is a CRUISER! And it's AWESOME... It even has doors!" Game on.

Congrats Drew! That is a fine looking Cruiser. It's screaming for some 285s.

What's the mileage on it?

Looks good Drew. A good, practical choice. But is it yours, or Stacy's?

You can tell Stacy she now has a nice Land Cruiser than my 80 that she drove on Kane Creek many years ago. Congrats!

The UZJ100 will make your FJ40 a much better daily driver.
