Default fishing around moab?

anyone ever fish the green or colorado in that area? wondering about taking my rod for a evening toss?

I know the fishing is good north by vernal, but what about south? Anyone know?

How fast is the current in that river, right around the campground, anyone know? Are there rapids? Or is it totally calm? I can't remember.. also is the campground right on the river? Can you walk there?

I am being told that the action in the green around there is mostly catfish. However, Mill Creek, is supposedly a hot brown trout hang out.

Nuttin' wrong with catfish. Nuttin' that eggs, cornmeal, hot oil and Frank's Hot Sauce won't fix up just right.

except catfish don't really like to hit fly's or nymphs... was planning on taking my fly rod.

The Colorado is pretty slow moving in Moab.. ive never seen anyone fishing in that area, but who knows..
