Default 80 Series Roof Rack Tech Question

For those that have them...Is an 84"L x 54"W roof rack too big for an 80?

I looked at the African Outback roof racks on Slee's sight for comparison and the biggest one on there is 82"x51" and looks like it completely "fills out" the roof. I wonder if another 2" in length and 3" in width would be an issue...

And no, I don't need a rack right now but I found what might be a smokin' deal on one that might be too good to pass up.

I can measure my mounts for you, either tonight or tomorrow, but remember, it's the feet that matter, not the width of the rack. That sounds about right for the feet measurement.

and 51 is not full rough, but close.

Measurements would be great...The rack reportedly came off a Landcruiser and I have a question in to the seller about the feet. One to make sure all the necessary piece parts are there and two to verify the width between the feet is adjustable. Pics make it look like they are. There are in fact there are four 'feet' per side which to my thinking would help spread the load out on the roof real nice...

Also, should anyone have some interest in a rack let me know and if I pass on it I'll gladly share the info.

I have Thulle bars and mounts and a 54" x 60" roof rack and it pretty much covers most the roof except the sun roof
