I plan to retrofit two VW Oil Bath Air Filters to my 80.

Get the supercharger, then convert the stock air cleaner housing into a big water tank, then ram all the air through it.

On the other hand as long as you don't step on it after the conversion technically your truck didn't inhale which makes it OK.....
