Do it, man! Timing couldn't be worse for me right now, but I'm still all in at this point. Now sure when we'll have the opportunity to do this again, with such a great group.

x2 on all points - Who knows when another opportunity like this will come around!

On the registration...Is the registration per vehicle or per person? Not sure if I'm supposed to register myself even though I'm not going to be driving. That's a bummer about the toilets as that will certainly add to the expense for everyone. Might be a good time to look into those card board or hitch toilets mentioned in the PETT toilet thread Nakman started.

We have to get a vote of approval from the membership but there is enough cheap fold up seats that we have in the trailer from CM that those without can probably borrow one. We can set up and use the nicer ones but it would cover the requirements!

It looks to me that the registration covers one truck and two people.

Thanks Matt. I would assume it is like CM that registration is per vehicle (with some additional $$ for passengers) rather than per person but other than the hints (2 dinners, etc.) it wasn't real clear.

Matt,
Your routes posted on the planning stages are spot on! I-80 route is very quick and I guess I just do not see why driving a 40 or mini that way is such a big deal? That has been done since 1958 when the first American Cruiser hit our shores! Heaven forbid we save any fuel in the Luxowagons by not doing 80-90 all the way!

I don't think it matters much for our leg of the trip, but I have been told that the mini likely will be Dave and Kirsten! So gentlemen, the fairer sex contingent is reinforced.
