Default heater hoses FJ40

Regarding the two hoses that go into the front heater core , can someone post a picture or explain which hose goes to which inlet? Does it matter? I didn't take a picture like I should have before rebuilding mine. I looked around here and on Mud but can't get a good shot that shows this. Thanks.

Coolant usually always flows in the bottom and out the top so the system doesn't airlock.
