Default Outlaws Run 2007

It was a cool September night, a full moon lit up the desert like day, the night was still, yet down among the sagebrush a rustling was heard, the lizards stopped foraging for insects and waited for the thunder of hoofbeats, the jackrabbits sat upright, it stirred a feeling handed down from their ancestors who told tales of Outlaws hiding in these canyons, washes and benches. But someting was different .... These horses had eyes of fire and they roared like the wind. Rising Sun 4x4 Outlaws Run 2007 had arrived!

Wow, what an awesome run!! Thanks to all who made it out. The Henry's are an amazing area! The veiws alone are worth the trip. We saw 10 vehicles over the course of 4 days. Pics from me will have to wait, as I told Todd i'd do a write up for him. Thanks again Paul, Kurt, Brian, Scott, Richard and Daniel. A most enjoyable trip indeed!!

Thanks for having me! What a trip it was!

Richard, Scott and I ended up running the Clay Point Trail to its intersection with the Burr trail, checked out the Halls Overlook Trail and then gassed up in Bullfrog. From Bullfrog we ran back up the Bullfrog-Notom Road to Hwy24. Seeing as we were in the area, we just had to check out Town Wash... we made it through... just kidding! While it had dried out alot, it was still pretty mucky. We bailed north on the Factory Butte road, forded the Muddy Creek and explored Temple Mountain before meeting the Maze crew in Green River.

Thanks again

Something WAS different... They were animals that ran in pack's
Not even the plants were safe

But in the end we all slept well.

The end....

Does anyone have a good group pic or even better a pic of us doing trail repair (such as the tree removal) or trash pickup. I'm submitting a short blurb on our NPLD work (ours was a bit non traditional but counts regardless) and I need a good group shot at least... I've got nothing on my camera.
