Good luck selling tires at that price. That's 470 ea. when they wear out. Toyo will then be the most expensive 35 I've seen. Hope its the best.

Get your grill done. The truck looks homeless without it.

Mike...

$301.70 from here --> http://www.unsertire.com/

Free shipping and I assume no tax. Some guy on MUD posted up about this place so I book marked it. Not sure if the $294 ea you listed is out the door or not.

"Toyo Tire to Raise Prices by Up to 60 Pct in N. America

Osaka, Feb 7, 2008 (Jiji Press) - Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. said it will raise the prices of automotive tires for the North American market by up to 60 pct on March 1 due to rising raw materials and fuel prices.

The Osaka-based company will increase the prices of tires for passenger cars, light trucks, larger trucks and buses that are sold through a sales subsidiary in North America."

Anyone interested in a group buy on these? No deal just save on shipping a little.

Yes - Are these the same ones that are advertised over on MUD? - I asked about those and got some responses here but I don't know enough about alternators to make a very informed opinion. Bill posted up in the thread in MUD asking some specific questions but I don't believe there was ever a response.

I would be leerly of a stock cased rebuilt with that much advertised increase in output! The question is HOW! If it's just a bigger rectifier set and a smaller pulley then you will have one hot little puppy that I wouldn't count on! If it has a rewound armature in addition to higher duty cycle rectifier set and some way to increase air flow then I would say its a great deal!
