No need for a tent in bad weather either

Just a tarp...

Next year the 40 is going to have the hardtop on (I'm not freezing my butt off again going through the mountains) and I'm actually going to use the tent I brought.

As far as your truck Perry, you could probably figure out some sort of bolt-on bars for the bed that you can lash stuff to. Mount a Storage box back there or whatever. Tent camping is def. the way to go, at least before you get too old

Gotcha. Truck's in winter hibernation.

The guy used these little gems:

Tube Clamp

The tubes were fitted together like puzzle pieces, locked in place by the clamps. Pretty slick design.

I haven't caught on to the RTT rage yet. The setups are cool, but we've got a family-sized tent with two blow up mattresses, and it works well for us.

I like the idea of a chaser trailer though, with or without a RTT. Rezarf will be the envy of many when his is done.

I guess, from my experiance I find the Roof Top tent to be better. Paul and Kurt had no trouble base camping or moving during the Outlaws Run this year. I guess i'm finding, for what i'm getting into, it makes sence for me. Plus, i'm trying to get my G/F more involved with what I do(though I will have to wait till she returns from Spain) and a RTT might help.

And sorry Bill, but I dont do trailers. If it cant be done on the 4wheels I have, I dont want it. Thanks for the offer though
