Default Whatley's Magic Mix

Just for grins I looked it up in my tabbed Toyota Trails magazines

4 equal parts of:
Dexron III ATF
Kerosene (Diesel)
Acetone
Mineral Spirits

Apparently a great degreaser/penetrant (?) - have to keep in sealed container until use or else the acetone and mineral spirits will go by-by.

Guess I was off by one ingredient. I had thought diesel plus kerosene, but missed the acetone.

For containers, those glass mason-type jars that Classico Spaghetti sauce comes in works great for stuff like this. Pickle jars work too, but the lids don't work as well as the spaghetti jars.

We had a raffle one year (2001?) where the Millers had brought back a bottle of the stuff from Mark after ACT 2000 and it was raffled at a club meeting :-)
