Default Wanna be part of ARES?

Section Emergency Coordinator Wes Wilson, KHBZ and I have implemented
changes to the Colorado ARES organization. We have noted these changes
and issued a statement of operational philosophy. If you have an
interest in Colorado ARES, please read the message at

click on the 'Colorado ARES' link.

ARES would dovetail nicely with F.E.A.T.

Default Howdy UB...

...I'm currently in the RS "Wives Class" for Technician, but joining RACE and ARES are both areas of interest if/once I'm successful and get a little amateur radio experience.

In a former life, I have 4 1/2 years SAR experience, and a very out of date EMT certification, and I'm an Eagle Scout.

Getting my ticket is a lifelong goal, and I'll be excited to get patched into helping with emergency commo.

Please keep us posted as things develop.
