Default R.I.P. Mike "Grubby" Gruber

I saw this in the Summit County paper a couple of days ago. I didn't know him, but some of my friends knew him. A know that some of the Rising Sun folks knew him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I had meet him earlier last year, what a shame. He seem like a real nice, geninue guy. Never know when your time is up. The article reads like it was a ski accident and he was not wearing a helmet(maybe i read it wrong). Just a bummer for his family.

I did not know him. For those of you who did it sounds like a sad loss for you. My thoughts and prayers go to Mikes family and friends.

Did not know him personally, but have heard of him. People always spoke highly of him. He and his family and friends will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Hum, That is too bad. I talked to him a few times in Fairplay when he had his planet crusiers going behind the Napa. Wish his family well during this tough time.

This came in on the TLCA list:

Alan and Jeff,

Please contact me at your earliest convenience. I would like to discuss a fundraiser / raffle for the family of Mike Gruber (Planet Cruisers Inc.) He had been in a coma at St. Anthony’s Central Hospital Denver since Jan 20th and passed this morning at 6am. Mike was 40.

Thank You,
Bob.

Bob and I have traded phone messages and emails, he hasn't answered the last one of either I sent yesterday. I'll keep trying.
