Default tires for emissions

man, even with have a friend who is in charge of the emissions for the state, I couldn't get my truck tested with the new tires. Even though they actually measure 34", the manager was being quite the helmet head.

Anyone have a spare set of wheels? hell 235's would be fine.

It would be worth beer or other favorite beverages

I have a full set of 33's mounted and inflated just sitting in the back yard. You would need 1/4" spacers on the front though.

To clear the calipers? or for turning radius.

To clear the calipers. I bought the rims before I found out you could get them with the correct backspacing.

I almost had my 80 emission W/T set up complete last night....unfortunately "someone" got hung up at work and wasn't able to get the tires to me. (no names mentioned...) How soon you need them? I have an extra set of 80 wheels and there is a set of 265's out there that need to be on these wheels so maybe it will all come together and you can use 'em. :p

The "someone" wuz me.

I can bring the tires on Sunday, if this will work. Or if urgently needed, I can deliver them on Saturday.

You have to have a 16 inch rim to clear the rear calipers on a 80 or you will need about 2.5 back space on the 15 inch rim. other wise the caliper will not allow the rim to seat on the hub and it will bind and not allow the wheel to move. Good luck robbie

Default Tires

I have the originals from my 95 FZJ80 if you wanted to get discount tire to swap them onto your wheels for the test. I was looking for a six-pack in trade, but if you can use them, you can have them. See here.
