Default BesTop Super Top for FJ40

Same as this one at 4wheel parts

only 2000 miles on the ruck from the rebuild when he bought this top in late 2012. It sat in the garage mostly.

I am not selling the doors

I took it off as soon as I got home with it so I didn't inspect each corner, but still looked new with nor rips or tears

$789 new, or $400 for this lightly used one

How does it attach? I have the channel for the windshield. Rails? , buttons?

I'm pretty sure I need it.

I have the entire bow setup. I needed to keep the window channel for another week while I run the top without sides (forgot what it was called), so if you have the channel then you have everything you need

I also have a bikini top he gave me I'll throw in with it

I didn't answer your question

The side rails fit over the lip of the tub and the top edge fits underneath in what they call a fasttrack. Once the edges are all in you tighten the top by reaching in the side windows and pushing the bow to the top rung

If you are wondering why I am selling it, I wanted an OEM style. from Trollhole cruisers (Marshall Shepherd) I am getting one of these with magnets rather than straps for attachment

Got the OEM bows from Reel Steel and sent the top part of my best top doors to Trollhole to recover to match the top. Just received the half doors from aqualu that fit the top part of the besttop doors

Here is the thread on his new design http://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/trol...ft-top.813373/

be carfeul with a magnet style top. From a product safety compliance standpoint, they are a nightmare. Neodymium magnets are very dangerous for little kids. As long as they stay firmly inside the fabric of the top, you are golden. but one day the top will start to wear out & the magnets will force their way out of the fabric.

Not exactly a ticking time bomb, but somethign to be aware of & keep an eye on for future risks (grandkids & such one day).
Best,
Abe
