Default Headlights to pass tech?

Hi all,

So I got my rolling chassis 4runner turned into a vehicle finally and we are about ready to go. I do have one thought though:

The 4runner is a trailer queen and I just finished the front dovetail, thus I dont have stock headlights any longer. I do have KC lights on the bumper wired up to the headlight switch. I am wondering if that will pass tech okay, or if maybe I should try and come up with something else. The only thought I have is KC are for offroad only, maybe get some driving lights and put those on there instead, or am I over complicating things?

TIA

Will you be driving your Runner on the paved streets of Moab at night? If so, you will need legal headlights. If you are driving in daylight only, you'll probably be fine.

If you are running Elephant Hill, and driving your Runner, you will need legal headlights. If you are towing your Runner to the parking lot for Elephant Hill, then you're OK.
