The final weekend will include the annual oil change, ARB line replacement, relay replacement axle seal replacement (1 side only) new wire to hold the exhaust on.

That should be enough for now. Yup, gonna have to break down and spend some time doing maintenance!

Well...............

Finish new rear bumper and tire carrier
Finish drawer system
Finish rear seat removal and leveling out for storage etc.
Re-intall cage in rear
Install cage in the front??
install soft top
install new winch line
change oil
Maybe change other fluids, only 1500 miles on old stuff
Install fuse block for fridge etc.
Install new alternator if I get it on time
install half doors and new removable hinges
install rear carpet
install fire extinguisher
re-wire rear work light
re-wire rear license plate light plus bracket
Maybe install new steering column

I am sure there is stuff I am missing and if I am I don't have to do it.

This weekend was meant to be working on the 4Runner but my friend in the hospital was a little bit more important than the truck. If I don't get some of the stuff done so be it. It ran before it will work fine this time, I hope.

Nights will be filled with parts flying and searching for that wrench I just had.

Well, I finally got nder the truck to do the maintenance.

I Changed the engine oil. (1x/year)

I put all new coathanger on the exhaust system. (OK, I replaced some with an actual mount, still temporary. maybe it'll get bashed off for good this trip!)

I fixed my ARB air line leaks finally.

I put one of marlin's fancy axle seals in the short side. Whadda mess. The other side weeps too, but not as bad. Old seal sure looked good. (shrugs)

I found a large bolt missing from the T-case mount. I have 2, so it wasn't a big deal, but i went to the junk yard and got another one and put it on.

I would like to do some cosmetic stuff, but that is always secondary to reliability, and safety. (I guess that makes it tertiary!)

I think I'll be ready to go tomorrow night!

I knew I was forgetting something!

I need to fortify my bailing wire job from last year.

Done:

Re-installed my front drive shaft with new Ujoints.
Reinstalled skid plate.
Nakman helped me pull my hard top off (Thanks again Tim!)
Installed Pakistan Top
Rotated tires
Organized camping gear and tools

Need to do still:

Get CO2 tank filled
Mount Hi-lift somewhere
Pack
Finish work stuff so that I can GO!

Planning on heading out Wednesday morning.
