Default Maze, March 2011

Just got back from a somewhat shortened trip out to the maze. I'll do a better write up on ExPo but here's a few photos. Weather was OK...not bad but not great. Cruiser did great. This was the pretty much the inaugural 4x4 trail since I've owned it. Its got a number of clangs/pops/creaks/etc in the suspension linkage, but other than that no issues at all! (Knock on wood). Spent 2 nights at happy canyon, and two nights at doll house #2. And it was chilly!

I would be up for a trip there. I have never been there and would love to go, I am not sure about Sharon but I would go depending on the timing.

Also, for those of you that have gone out to the dollhouse, where did you break up the return trip? Due to very cold weather we ended up driving from dollhouse all the way to denver in one day. That was too much driving for one day. I'd love to go back sometime but with more than one vehicle so each somewhat technical section isn't as stressful; incase of vehicle failure

Looks like a great trip Corey

As for the clangs/pops/creaks/etc - I know on my truck when dirt or whatever works its way under the springs, I get some really odd and awful "twanging" noises (best descriptive word I can think of ) when a side/corner is "unweighted" - You might try power hosing off the spring perches or give them a liberal does of WD40 or similar - that seems to do the trick for me
