axleike and that taco 4door are making me want to wheel the snot out of my t100, alas, no lockers and no armor will keep my brain in check.

I know who to ask though when I am ready to learn to wheel ifs!

(yes, the t100 is the ONLY ifs vehicle I have driven off-road)

Thanks to CLC and RS for such a wonderful weekend! Between the surroundings, camaraderie, food, opportunities to improve skills and ROCKS(!) it was a great wheeling adventure. Suzie and I came home tired and happy. We finished off a long day on the trail with a great meal at the Grill in Leadville with Neil Quigley (the real Squeaky) and his good buddy Mark.
Since Ige and others have posted up many cool wheeling shots, I thought I'd post some of Suzie's scenery and people pics with a few exceptions. Most of us are used to seeing the top of Ige's head but the one of her in her truck is a little different.
As you know, I am a dunce and I don't know how to insert pics and have the ability to insert comments between them. Somebody please hip me to how that works.

A few more pics for you. I was amazed that so many vehicles - 15? - were able to navigate a fairly difficult run, which Holy Cross truly is, without much in the way of damage to either vehicles or persons. That we completed the 8.2 miles round trip in nine hours with nary a mechanical breakdown speaks to Toyota ruggedness and preparedness of those on the trail. Hats off to all of you!
My one regret on this trip is that the run ended in a major downpour and we didn't get to share a brew at camp to celebrate our big fun. Next time!!

Fist Wednesday of every month 19:30 Stevinson Toyota West, upstairs meeting room. Several folks do a pre meeting at usually On The Border (Just North of Steve) and many enjoy a barley pop or two after meeting at Hopps (also north of Steve) You are very welcome!

Holy Cross is one Colorado trail that has some sections similar to what is found in California at Rubicon. French Creek crossing, in particular has some boulders that reminded me of this picture I took near the bottom of Big Sluice.
