Default LX 450 tires

I am looking for information on tires for my LX with a 2.5 " lift. Would like to use a 285 or 295-75-16. Any ideas on a good town and highway tire that would work well on trails. Thanks

BFG AT KOs are hard to beat. I ran those before I went to 35's and a more aggressive off road tire.

My daughters 450, my wifes 4runner (never offorad) and my other daughters 4runner all have BFG AT KOs on them. Great in the snow too.

That's basically what I need. 99% street with 2-3 times offroad.

I've been thinking either the Nitto Terra Grappler or the Goodyear Silent Armor.

The new BFG MT KM2smight be worth a look. Supposedly they are about as quiet on the road as the AT KOs (which, I should say, I had on my Tacoma and they never failed to live up to my needs).

I love my terra grapplers so far. I've only done some light wheeling out of Ouray to date but they preformed as expected. Had one snow drive great there too. Just a little more noise on the HWY over stock michelins

Unlike most I do not care for BFG AT's. My opinion is mainly based on poor snow/ice performance.

I can truly tell you that that is not correct information! The traction and road performance has proven itself to me (was not an easy sell!) but quiet they are not! Noise is the price paid for these very high traction tires!
