Ask for Joe (my son-in-law) and tell him I sent you, they'll do you right and make sure everything's taken care of correctly.

While there ask Sam (owner) to show you his '55 Chevy - too cool & enough to make you want a street rod.

do NOT rush through the estimates with the insurance, or with medical issues. get checked out asap, and document all treatments and costs. as for insurance, it's easy to total an 80. I know. This is ok if you don't mind a salvage title.

thanks all for your concern and advice. I will get to the doc this week. I also will get some estimates done and hope it gets close to salvage...

Here are the pics!

First I see the damage to the front....ugh....

then I see her damage...dang....leaking fluids everywhere, and looked worse in person. The left front wheel was pointed in a different direction than the passenger side wheel. Definitely not drivable.

Not a scratch on that side. I was lucky...and John did an amazing job welding...and did I mention I was lucky? 2 or 3 feet either direction and the truck probably is written off for good...and I probably have injuries. Again, thanks everyone for your concern.

No airbag deployment on the PT Cruiser?

Amazing to see how well the slider held up and kept the PS body from getting damaged...Still a bummer though.
