Default Morse code practice

Go here for a very nice Morse code practice web site. The practice starts at 3 wpm and goes up from there. Check it out.

Thanks for the link. I've been looking for a morse generator for a while. I was a morse collection operator in Navy and back then I could copy up to 60wpm. I'm a bit rusty though.

I still remember most of the letters from Scouts as a boy. Had to learn this for First Class rank. Not anymore though. Had a ex drill sargeant for a scoutmaster. He taught the patterns and made us learn without writing anything down.

I still remember. Now sending/receiving words is another story. Need to practice again. Neat stuff though.

Good for you, if you start to practice Morse code again. Morse code is where the action is. Anybody can speak into a microphone. It takes a special skill to communicate via CW. And, your ex drill sergeant was right, listen for the words, not so much the individual letters. On CW, on the HF bands, you can work the world, even with a modest setup. When you get home from work in the late afternoon, the JA's will be coming in on 15 meters like gangbusters. This is a really cool hobby.
