Default school me on .tel domains

Who's using one? Is this something to rush out and nab for my business? I have been reading up on this site http://www.dotteldomainnames.com/ but curious what some of you web folk think.

It depends how crazy you want to get with domains -- there are tons of TLDs you can buy if you want to protect yourself. Big companies has thousands of domain names registered at big costs. I was talking with the lawyer at one of our partners recently, and she mentioned they have 13,000 domain names registered!

This one sounds like it might have a unique selling point. You could always buy your domain and sit on it for a few years to see if it takes off.

I'm usually dubious as to the value of new TLDs. The only ones beyond .com, .net, and .org that seem to be in common use are .us, .tv, and maybe .mobi, although I've never actually seen a .mobi website.
