Default Reputable Transmission Shop

Anyone have a recommendation for a transmission shop. My friend has a Chrysler Sebring 95 and she took it to Pep Boys. I told her she needs to run. They are trying to tell her she needs a new transmission and TCM (Transmission Control Module) as well now. The car runs fine with no problems with shifts et al., just the light came on and presented a PO605.....

Thanks
John

Folks seem scared by more technology in cars, when in fact it often makes it easier.
I know nothing about Chrysler, but...

OBDII + Google should equal more consumer knowledge! If the code is to be believed, the TCM has an internal error. If her computer had an internal error and wouldn't boot... I bet she would know what to do.
