Default Anybody want to switch trails and take Elephant Hill on Thursday?

It's my assigned Thursday trail, but with the logistics involved with meeting my family right now it would be simpler if we had a trail closer to Moab.

So if anyone wants Elephant Hill and has a similar middle-rated trail to give me, let me know.

Please coordinate any trail changes with Greg or Neil. They have a lot of issues that they have to balance. Many trails have a few slots available, and some have a wait list.

It is easiest for the event, if you simply notify registration (at) cruisemoab (dot) com of any change requests.

Starting Wednesday, any trail change requests should be done in person at the Trail Boss cabin.

See you in Moab!

a simple trade seems like something pretty easy to handle here...

Having spent years working inside the sausage factory, it's a lot more involved than it appears. Don't pay attention to that man behind the curtain :-)

I remember when IBM's "deep blue" won a chess match with a grand master (Gary Kasparov?). The behind the scene story was that the supercomputer was designed, built and programmed for UAL to figure out the fares for the airline giant. The heuristics that go into the job of trail assignments for CM approach that order of magnitude. Hats off to Greg and Neil, and please cut them a break.

Happy cruisin'!

 Sorry for the confusion; I'll email the registration address and see where it goes (and put in a plug for Timm).

I ran Poison Spider last year, and it was fun but I'd opt for a different choice if something similar was available. Thanks for the offer to trade - hopefully Neil and Greg can get you into my slot.
